  The only reason I gave this place a star, is they have excellent bands!!! It's suppose to be a brew pub and had no wheat beers! Asked the bartender what else to try, but got the answer IDK. Sorry to bother her!!! The both bartender were rude and obnoxious. Only go there if you want good music, it and BYOB! Oh, and I forgot to mention that the owner just sits at the bar and allows his bartenders to act like that. And to all the women out there, their favorite patron is a con artist, liar, thief, and convicted woman assailant. He has been arrested a few times for battery....watch out!!!

  I have never felt so unwelcomed in my life! The bartender practically ignored us the entire time we were there. We had to wait for the dining room staff to bring us menus. The bartender took our order then took her food and sat by a patron and ignored us. Luckily someone from the dining room came to the bar so I could get a refill on my water. When I got up to get salt and pepper from another table, she said I shouldn't have to do that and explained she was tired from the long weekend. Then she said she needed to go into the kitchen to get warm; never asked if we needed anything before leaving (my husband got up and got his own ketchup) and she came back from the kitchen stinking of cigarettes. Another regular/employee came in when we were eating and she and the bartender carried on a conversation while the bartender continued to ignore us and looked for lipstick in her bag -- all the time with her back to us. When she gave us the bill, I pulled my credit card out and she walked away to talk to someone who just came in and ignored us again. After a few minutes waiting I switched to cash so we didn't have to wait for her and left it on the bar. She didn't thank us or apologize for the absolutely horrible service. I gave 1 star because the beer was good, the food wasn't - soggy fries, bland food. Here's a hint to Hammo's: if you're too tired to work, call in or close the restaurant. I came in for a meal; was polite despite your rudeness and tipped even though you certainly didn't deserve one. I will NEVER go back or recommend your place.

  Great place to eat. Had a family meal here tonight and it was really good. Good selection on the menu but we all had the chicken wings and ribs. Both were very tasty. Beer selection was superb. Would definitely go back again. Pity we live in England!!

  I can't give enough stars to this place, so just let me say, it's a brewpub with their own hand crafted small batch beer and delicious food within 5 minutes of the base at Windham. Dog friendly - not just dog tolerant, but dog lovers. Beautiful historic lodging. Run by the nicest people you can imagine. Really, what more could you want?
